How to design org chart from excel in lucidchart?

If you want to design an org chart with the help of an Excel document, it's straightforward. In other words, we can, with one click, you can design an org chart in Lucidchart from an Excel document.

1. In your Excel document, create a table with your organization's employees' names and roles. As you can see in the following screenshot. As our Excel document is well designed, all data.

The first column contains the employee ID, name, supervisor ID, Role, email, and cell phone.
Now, with the Excel document's help, we will create the org chart in Lucidchart.

2. Log in to your Lucidchart account or create a new one. The critical thing about Lucidchart is that if you have a free account, you cannot create more things in Lucidchart (only 3 documents are free, that is, the first three only).

Also, you can log in with Google, Office 365, and Slack. As you can see, there are options for these at the bottom. If you want to go with the login, then it's your own choice.

After logging in, you can see a new interface appears, as you can see in the following screenshot.

3. Click the "Create Diagram" for this and go to the New > Lucidchart > Blank Document. After selecting the blank document.

As you can see, a new blank document will open in a new window and appear with the blank diagram.

Then, go to the file in the list to find the import data, as seen in the following screenshot.

4. Click the "Import data." Then, a new window will appear, as shown in the following screenshot.

We have to create the org chart in Excel, and in the above screenshot, we can see an Org Chart on the right side. We can see a few options like CSV, Google Sheets, and Excel documents appear on the top right size, as we can see.

If you have had any kind of document on your computer, you can select that type and upload it.

5. As I have a "CSV" file and I will select the org chart, a new window will appear. As we can see in the following screenshot.

After selecting the CSV file and pressing the Next button, a new window will appear, as seen in the following screenshot.

As you can see, I have a CSV file on my desktop. Select it, and then press open.

I will fix it with some settings, which are going to attach, as you can see.

Press the Next button, and then we will see that a few more options are required for the org chart in the Lucidchart, as shown in the following screenshot.

After setting these filters, click on Next.

A new window will appear, and then press on Finish.

It's clean, modern, and professional, and it's done. This way, we can import CSV documents to Lucidchart while importing them in Lucidchart.
