How to change language in Microsoft Visio?

In this article, I will tell you about changing the languages in Microsoft Visio. Language is very important for everyone. If someone is living in the United States then he knows United States English. If someone is living in the United Kingdom then he should use United Kingdom English. In the world, there are roughly 6500 languages and it's not necessary that a single person know each language.

The most important thing is that there is an opportunity for changing language in Visio. You can change your language according to your own language.

I will show you how you can change language to your own language.

In the file menu then go to the options.


Then you have to click on the option then a new window will appear.


A window appears with the name of the Visio options.

  4. Language
  5. Accessibility
  6. Advanced
  7. Customize Ribbon
  8. Quick Access Toolbar
  9. Add-ins
  10. Trust Center

In the above list, we can see the Languages and then we will go through with Languages then select the language then more options related to language will be appear on the screen.


There is a button with the name "Add a Language" then we have to click on it then more languages will be appear on it.


If we will expand the languages in the list and there are a lot of languages in this list. If you want to add any language from the list just select the language then press add. Than automatically a new language will be install in the top window.


We have to add a Language in the lower part then a list appear. We have to select the desired language then press add then our new language will be added in the page. As we can see in the attach picture.


Also, we can add and remove languages in Visio. Also there is a Preferred language in Microsoft Visio that is United States.  United States English is an international languages that is why everyone know very well because of international language it's include in it by default in Microsoft Visio.
