How to Copy a Page in a Microsoft Visio Drawing?

In this article, we will copy a whole page and then insert it into another page without changing the order of the shapes in Microsoft Visio.

Why do we copy shapes to another? Because if you are working on similar figures in Microsoft Visio, instead of starting from zero, we copy things from one page to another in our drag.

(Note: In this article, we are going to share all screenshots from the Window version if you are using mac then there are slightly different screenshots.)

Let's Get Started:

Step 1: The first step is open Microsoft Visio drag where you have to copy drag and then paste it to another page of Microsoft Visio.

As we can see that there is a drag open in Microsoft Visio. As you can see that there is an organizational chart in the above screenshot. As this one is without images if you want to create another version with images in Visio.

Step 2: In this step, we will copy the Whole organizational chart. 

There are two ways to copy the whole drawing with the help of the click and drag method and there is also a shortcut key to select all shapes Ctrl+ A then we will see that whole shapes will be selected in our drag.

To copy the current drag Ctrl+C. Then our drag will be ready to paste anywhere in Microsoft Visio.

As we can see that our drag is selected at this time. In the following screenshot.

Step 3: In this step, we have to open a new page where we have to paste our drawing. At the bottom, there is a section of the pages where we can insert multiple pages in Microsoft Visio.

After clicking it another page will be inserted with the name of Page 2 in our document.

Step 4: In this final step we will paste it into page 2 that we have inserted in our drawing. Just use the Ctrl+V then the whole draw that we have copied is pasted in it. As we can see in the following screenshot.

Finally, our drawing is inserted on Microsft Visio's new page. This one is a new drag and we can do anything with this drag. We can make changes also instead of images for each person.
