How to add rounding connector in Visio?

In this article, we will learn how we can convert our connector into a rounding converter. As we know that rounding converters are required for some placing and these are more smooth as well in our flowcharts, organizational chart, and network diagram as well in Visio.

There are three types of connectors.
  1. Straight Line
  2. Right Angle
  3. Curve Line

Also, at the end of the above screenshot, there is also the right and we just have to add the rounding connector. These rounding connectors are added manually.

First of all, we will see the types of connectors. Mostly we are working or designing flowcharts in Microsoft Visio then we have to connect the shapes with the help of the connector.

Go to the Microsoft Visio and add basic shapes and then connect them with the help of the connector as you can see in the following screenshot.

As for now, there are right-angle connectors are used to connect the shape within the document as you can see.

Now we are going to see the types of connectors in Microsoft Visio. As we have already discussed there are three types of connectors.

There are three types of connectors.
  1. Straight Line
  2. Right Angle
  3. Curve Line
Go to Design > Layout Group > Connectors.

As we can see their connectors are visible and if we will expand it then we will see all types of connectors. As we can see in the following screenshot.

After expanding the Connectors we can see the types of connectors. If you have applied the Right Angle connector and if you will select the Straight line connector then our diagram will change to the straight line connectors.

Then as a result all right-angle connectors are converted into a straight line as you can see in the following result.

Similarly, if we will select the Curved line connectors then our lines will be converted into the curved line as we can see in the following result.

I think if you have a small flowchart and then you apply curved line connectors and they look awesome as you can see in the following result. You can try all connectors types in your flowcharts as well.

(Note: Currently you have a flowchart and you are going to select another connector but they are not applying to your draging but they are not applying. In this case, you have to select the all lines and then select the connector type that you want to apply to your drawing.)

If you want to round your connector types then you have to select the connector you can see that our four connectors are selected as you can see in the following screenshot.

Then right-click on one of the connectors then a dialogue box will be open as you can see in the following result.

In the dialogue box, you can see the "Format Shapes" and then select the format shape then you will see that a window is open on the right side as we can see in the following screenshot.

In that window, we can see the Rounding presets. If you will expand the window then you will see there are a lot of types of rounding connectors.

As we apply the second one from the left side as you will see the result in the following screenshot.

We can see that a little few connectors are connected to the round connector if we will move to the bottom then you will see that our rounding converter will increase as we can see in the following screenshot.

It's much better as we can see that our connectors are converted into more rounds as you can see in the above screenshot.

In this article, we learn the types of connectors and we make our connectors more round as we have seen that we have applied all things manually.
