How to Choose Templates in Microsoft Visio?

In this article, we are going to learn how we can choose templates in Visio. There are tons of templates along with stencils then you can start stencilas as well as with the templates. If you select the blank page then stencils will be shown in the shape pane on the left-hand side.

Let's Get Started: 

The first thing is to open Microsoft Visio.

Then you will see something like this. This is known as the Home page of the Microsoft Visio when you open it.

On the top, we can see that these are the templates that we have recently used for our projects or our client projects.

In the above screenshot, We can see there is a more Templates option if you will expand it then you will see the Whole Templates in Microsoft Visio.

After selecting the More Templates then we will see the templates in Microsoft Visio.

If you will select the Categories then you will see the categories in a list. 

In the Categories, we can see the Business ( Organizational chart) Engineering ( Electrical Diagram), Flowchart, General, Maps and Plans, Network, and many more you can scroll it, and then you will see all pre-design templates.

Further, if you move forward to go with the templates then you will see there are two options for each template.

If you want to go with the blank page along with the stencils of that templates then you can go with it. 

As we can see that there are blank pages in the begging if you will go with it then you will see the stencils as you can see in the following screenshot.

As we can see that there is a tab related to the Org Chart and stencils on the left-hand side. And the page is blank where we have to insert the Org Chart.

On the other hand, if you will select the org chart templates then you will see the whole template on the artboard in Microsoft Visio.

We can update our organization chart in Microsoft Visio.

In this way, we can choose the Template in Micorosft Visio.
