If you want to add Quickly and easily visualize your data into polished Visio diagrams within Excel. If you want to create a high-quality Visio flowchart, organizational chart, and cross-functional flowcharts from your excel data with the help of the Data Visualizer Add-in.
(Note: If you don't have a Visio license then you can also add a data visualizer add-in in Excel. Also if you are not familiar with Visio then you no need to learn about Visio just edit your data in Excel to design a flowchart, org charts, network diagrams, and many more.)
The first step is to open Microsoft Excel as you can see in the following screenshot.
As you can see there is a list of the menu and in this list, we can see currently we can see we currently exist in the Home tab.As we are talking about the Data Visualizer in Excel then we will move to the insert tab as you can see in the following screenshot.
As in the Insert tab, there is an Add-ins group. And in these add-ins, there are two options first one is Get Add-ins, and the second is the My Add-ins. If you don't have to include Visio add-ins in excel then simply go with the Get Add-ins options.
If you have Visio Add-ins included in Excel then simply go to My Add-ins then you will see that in Office Add-ins your Add-ins will show and currently. I have only Microsoft Visio Data Visualizer available.
Simply we will select the Microsoft Visio Data Visualizer then at the bottom the Add Button will be visible as we can see in the following result.
After adding it we will see that Data Visualizer will be open as we can see in the following screenshot.
You can continue without signing in (Preview). After that, you will see that there are three different types of things we can perform in Excel with the help of the Data Visualizer.- Basic Flowchart
- Cross-Functional Flowchart
- Organization Chart
If we talk about the Basic flowchart then there are further types of flowcharts. - Horizontal Flowchart
- Vertical flowchart
- Hierarchy Flowchart
Similarly, you can expand the remaining types in Excel with the help of the Data Visualizer.
