On this site, we mostly discuss (tips & tricks) about Microsoft Visio and assist you to work with Microsoft Visio without any confusion also you can say without any resistance. We will keep the article short and understandable for the reader.
1) First of all you have to open Microsoft Visio, then we will see the following screen of Microsoft Visio
3) After clicking on Blank Diagram then we will select Units. Mostly Visio uses two types of Units
(a)Metric Unit
(b)US Units
You can go with any Units as you want but we will discuss the Difference between Metric Units and US Units in the future. But we can say that Metric units are used all over the world and US Units are a System of measurements commonly used in the United States since it was formalized in 1832.
Now, we will go with US Units, as you can see in the following screenshot.
After creating Blank Diagram we will see the Main Interface of Microsoft Visio.
4) Now we have two options for finding Basic Shapes in Microsoft Visio (MS Visio 2019). First one we can search shapes in the Shapes pane, secondly we can click on More Shapes then we will see the following shapes pane. Are you ready to go with it? Are you excited to work with Visio? Say yes, we will fully train You about Basic shapes.
5) Now we can see that the shape pane is expanded with the pop-down menu. Here we can see many shapes is showing like My Shapes, Business, Engineering, Flowchart, General, Maps and Floor Plans, Network, Schedule, Software and Database, Visio Extras, and many more as we want to can add as a shape by creating New Stencil (US Units) or New Stencil. The term Stencil is very useful in Microsoft Visio (MS Visio 2019). With the help of Stencils, we can create our own shapes and introduce them in Visio as a stencil. In the Future, We will discuss stencils for now we have to make an idea that these are predefined shapes.
In this case, we will go with General. In General shapes, we can use Basic shapes.
Now we will discuss how to design a flowchart in Microsoft Visio
We can design the following type of flowchart or a more beautiful and attractive basic flowchart, organization, cross-functional flowchart, audit diagram, and many more as you want.
Step1: Drag a shape from basic shape to page then leave it on the top center as we can see or we can place the image on any place on the page.
2) Now we will select the second shape Circle and place it on the page
