How to Show and Hide Ruler in Microsoft Visio?

In this article, we are going to learn about the ruler in Visio. As we know that the ruler is very important in Visio. Also, our main focus is to show and hide rulers in Visio.

The first step is to open Microsoft Visio. By default, we can see the Home tab also we know that in the home tab there are basic tools related to the objects that we insert in Visio.

If we want to show a ruler or hide Visio then we have to go to the View tab then in the next step we have to go to the View tab as we can see in the following screenshot. 

When we are in the View tab then in the show group, we can see ruler options. As we can see in the following screenshot.

As we can see, for now, the ruler box is unchecked now as well we can see that the ruler is not visible when we will check the ruler box then we will see that ruler will be visible in Visio.

As we can see that rulers are visible in Visio. In this way, we can show and hide rulers in Visio. 

For example, if we want to show and hide then we have to just handle the ruler in the View tab in Visio. If the check box is unchecked then the ruler will be hidden. when we will check the ruler in Visio then the ruler will be visible in Visio.

Benefits of Ruler in Visio

With the help of the ruler, we can align objects. For example, we have some objects are inserted as rough shapes, then with the help of the ruler we will move our cursor to the ruler then our cursor will change into the line with an arrowhead on both sides then we have to drag a line then leave it to the shapes.

Also, we can align objects in Visio with the help of the ruler in Visio.

As we can see that shapes are aligned vertically as well as horizontally in Visio.
