How to Change Measurement Units in Visio?

In this article, we will learn how we can change ruler measurement units in Microsoft Visio. When we are working with the floor plan or any other document of Visio then we want to set ruler measurement units according to our requirement then we have to set ruler units before start work. It's necessary to adjust ruler units because if we will not fix the units then we can't do anything with our drag or the floor plan.

a. On the Design tab > Page Setup > Size


Now we have to click on Size then a dialogue box will be open.


Go to "More Page Size" as shown in the above image then a new dialogue box will appear.

  3. Drawing Scale
  4. Page Properties
  5. Layout & Routing
  6. Alt Text

As we are working with the Ruler Measurement Units then we have to go with Page Properties.


We have to Select "Foreground" then we can see an option "Measurement Units" then click on the arrow key. Then more options will be open related to Measurement units.

  4. Miles
  5. Inches (decimal)
  6. Feet (decimal)
  7. Miles (decimal) 
  8. Millimetres Centimeters
  9. Meters Kilometers
  10. Picas Point

  13. Weeks
  14. Days
  15. Hours
  16. Minutes
  17. Seconds

We can select any Measurement units from the above list and apply to our drawing. We have to select initially to set measurements units.
