How to turn on the Auto recovery option in Visio?

In this article, we will turn on the Auto-recovery option in Visio. The auto-recovery option is very important if we close the Visio document without saving it. We can save many hours of work with the help of the auto-recovery option.
In the first step, we have to open Visio. With the help of the start menu or with the help of the desktop icons.

In the second option, we can see the Visio starting interface. Also, there are "Options". 

Then we will click on the "Options" then a new window with the name "Visio Options" will be open. As we can see in the following screenshot.


There is a "Save" tab on the left side of the Visio Options. As we can see in the attached screenshot. Then we will expand the "Visio Options".


Then we can see that is an Autorecover check box. and we have to check the box on. Also, there is a time "Save AutoRecover information every 10 minutes".

We can change the time duration for which our file will auto-save. If we never save it in Visio. While working in any program we forget to save files. That is why the auto-recover option is the best option for saving the Visio file.
In this way, we can on Auto-recover option in Visio. If you have a good habit of saving your document after a few minutes of your work then it's a good habit.
