How to open Visio file online in Lucidchart?

In this article, I will tell you the whole process of opening of Visio file into the Lucidchart. As if you have a Visio drawing then you want to open it to see the whole drawing you can try this method then finally you will be able to open the Visio drawing into the Lucidchart.

The first step is that you have to open Lucidchart website after open of it you will see the following screen after reaching out to the lucidchart.

After opening Lucidchart if you have already Logged in then you can log in with the help of the user name and password.

If you are new to Lucidchart then you have to sign up. If you are new to Lucidchart then after clicking on the sign-up option you will see the next option.

From this page, we can choose any plan for our Lucidchart. There are many options like free and paid. In this case, we are going to join for free but for this version, there are many limitations.

For Sign-up you have to provide all information like Full name, working email address, and password. If you want to sign-up quickly then you can just sign-up with the one-click just after clicking on the "Google" button which lies after that information.

After sign-up we can see the above result we will reach on this screen.

Now, If we want to import any Visio document to Lucidchart then we can see the whole drawing in Lucidchart. After following the following steps.

Click on the New > Lucidchart > Import > Visio.

When we will click on the Visio then a new window will be open as shown in the following screenshot.

Choose file. Then the file location will be open then if you have a file on the desktop then you will select from that location then upload it here.

After uploading the Visio file to Lucidchart. Then Press Import then our drawing will import to Lucidchart drawing.

As we can see that our file is inserted into our Lucidchart account. Now we will open this file in Lucidchart. 

As we can see that our Visio drawing is open in Lucidchart. Also, we can see that our drawing is View only because our account is the free version. If you have paid account with Lucidchart then you can edit your Visio drawing in Lucidchart according to your information.
