How to format text in Visio?

In this article, we will format our inserted text in Visio. Because text formatting is very important, for text to make it more clear, professional, and modern. we usually important text.

Their many factors included formatting in Visio. 

In the above example, we can see that there is formating performed according to the requirement.

1. what we have performed in our flowchart.
2. Some text is black and some text is white it's a kind of formating.
3. Some text is bold and some text is written in normal that a part of formating.
4. Some text is bigger and some text or smaller than a part of formating.
5. Some shapes are the same color and some of them are read.

Everything that we have done is known as the formation of the text in Visio.

Font Name: We can change the font at this time you can the "Calibri" on the right-hand side you can there is an arrow if you will expand it then more options will be visible for the font in Visio.

As we can see many fonts in the font group.

Font Size: Normal font size for Visio drawing is 12pt. If we expand it then we can see many different sizes in Visio will appear in the font group.

Nearby the font size there are two "A".These are used to increase text size as well as decrease text size step by step in Visio. By default font size is 12pt and normally we can see the font size 6pt to 60pt visible but we can decrease our font size to 1pt and enclosure up to required and well manage size in Visio drawing.

Bold Text: While working with Visio we can bold text with the help of the bold sign as you can see that our font size looks clear, We perform bold text to the important text.

We can bold text with the help of "B" then after applying it to our shape then we can see that there is a text with "B" when we click on it then our text will convert into bold text and we can see that the text is bold with respect to the other font.

Italic Text: we use italic text for notes on our document and sometimes you have noticed for the author's name we perform the italic text that looks attractive. In the case of the italic text, we can that our text is converted into a bend text on the right-hand side. As we can see in the following sample.

As we can see the "OSM" text is converted into italic text as we can see in the attached screenshot.

Underline Text: We can turn our text into the underlined text with the help of the "U". Mostly when we insert a link to our document it's automatically converted into the underline text. Also, we can add an underline to our normal text in the Visio drawing.

After applying the underline then we can see that our normal text is converted into the underlined text with the help of the underlined text.

Strikethrough Text: Some time we use strikethrough for our text. We use some time strikethrough text for our drawing. But you can use it for your own drawing. When we apply the strikethrough text then a horizontal line appears on the text as we can see the result to strikethrough text in Visio.

As you can see the strikethrough text is applied to our normal text and a horizontal line on the "OSM"

In this way, we can insert the strikethrough text to our normal text in Visio drawing.

Change Case: There are four (4) different types of cases in Visio by default.

1. Normal
2. All Caps
3. Capitalize Each Word
4. Small Caps

Normal Case: If you have a sentence in Visio if you apply the Normal case then your first letter of the paragraph will be capital and the remaining letters will be small. 

As you can see in the following example in Visio drawing.

As we can see that there is a line "Order source system captures the order" The first letter of the order is "O" which is capital and the remaining all are small as we can see in the above example in Visio.

All Caps Case: In this case, all text is converted into capital letters. We use for heading or important

All Caps Case: In all caps cases our whole text is converted to the capital letter.

At the end of the font group, we will see the font color. We can change the color of our font. First of all, we have to select the text for which we want to apply the change color.

In this way, we can format our text in Visio.
