How to format shape fills in Microsoft Visio?

In this article, we will format our shape fills and add other effects like shadow, etc. In the first step, we have to insert shapes into our Visio drawing. After inserting shapes we can go with the second step.

As we can see that basic shapes are inserted in our drawing. After it, we can insert shapes to fill.

For example, if we want to insert "Start" and "End" then first of all we have to select these shapes.

As we can see that both "Start" and "End" shapes are selected. For formating, we have to go to the
Home tab > Shapes Style
In shapes style, we can see the "Fill" and "Line" options. With the help of "Fill" our shape will be color after selecting any proper color from the fill.

As we can see that our first and last shape is selected. After selection, we move towards fill. Expand it then we can see that there are many color pallets then we can select any color and apply it to our shape.

After applying color to our Visio shapes we can see that text is not looking properly and also you can see the line color black. It's not looking proper.
We can change the text color to white color. For changing the color of the font just go to the Home tab > Font. We can see that in the following screenshot.

We will select the white color for the font then we will see what happens to our diagrams.

Similarly, we can apply the same color or any other color to our shapes.
As we can see that our shape fill is applied. And we can see that there is our line color or line color.
If you want to remove the line color then just select the shape then in the home tab > Shape style.
In shape style, we can see that "Line".
Apply no line to each shape then the line will disappear from each shape.

As we can see that we have done format shapes fill is applied to our flowchart.
